Micheal Mayode Awoniyi;
CAPTAIN BLUE
It was with great shock we received the news of the demise of Micheal Mayode Awoniyi popularly known in the entertainment world as CAPTAIN BLUE.
A young promising performing musician and media practitioner from Kogi State.
He was such a terrific friend to all of us ,caring, loving, thoughtful and generous.
We are very grateful for the many memories we shared with him & we wish you to know that a lot of his friends here send their sympathy.
We not only thank God for his life but also for his willingness to share his time with everyone who encountered him.
We are saddened to lose such a loyal and committed friend.
It would be difficult to measure the impact he had on the many people's lives he touched, personally and professionally.
He called me his "teacher" & we recorded a song together ( FLY AWAY) while he was an undergraduate at the beginning of his career.
We appreciate the honor he brought to our profession by his achievements in such a short life time.
