Babayi Yusuf Babayi popularly known as Cylent [Boy from the northeast] , born in Adamawa State, Nigeria on June 25th is a Rapper/Entrepreneur/Songwriter and Producer who can comfortably deliver well in other genres such as Afropop, Dancehall, RnB.
Cylent started off as a regular kid that had a passion for good music. Early 2012 started writing and recording his own songs. He then fell in love with beat production and has been learning it for 5years now till he got to the point where other artistes patronized his brilliant beats.
A Student of Geography and Environmental Management in the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Cylent joined a group known as Timeless Tongues; the rap arm of All Talented Christians Club (ATC), where he was able to record songs such as Catch Fire, Agbalumo, Undefeated amongst others.
Cylent is currently signed to Christed Records and here is his first official single "JOIN US" which is produced by GtThaRapman
