Port Harcourt base Nigerian Sensational worship leader and song writer Stella Jay has released her new single titled 'My Laughter' off her current debut album. Her current debut album 'My Laughter' is one the best selling album in the Gospel music world.

Stella Jay was born in Lagos, Nigeria. She is a native of Essene in Ikot Abasi LGA of Akawa Ibom state, Nigeria. She is inspired by great gospel ministers like; Cece Winans, Juanita Bynum, Yolanda Adams and Kim Burrell, mention but a few prominent inspirational music ministers. Over decades, It all began in her early years when she was age 11 to 12 as she began hearing from God and getting inspirations from dreams and visions.
"Steli the Golden voice". as she is fondly called got more confuse of how to go about her spiritual gifts, and also how to relate it to music. The sense that she was not an entertainer, and that her gift was not for a competition became more transparent. And so she got committed under the mentor-ship of Pastor Uma E. Uma. Of the Glory House Ministry, Port Harcourt. Where she develop and intimate relationship with the holy spirit.
She then realized and believed that her spiritual gift was more than singing. As the revelation and visions given to her by God begins to get clearer and understanding by the day. The main focus for Stella Jay is praise and worship in an unusual style, which is the food of the Almighty God.
Stella Jay is a Civil Engineering graduate of the river state polytechnic. She got married in 2015 to one of the best music director in the world called Kenneth Jay, A native of Okujagu, Azuabie, Port Harcourt LGA of River state, Nigeria. Who is also a graduate of Banking and Finance In Rivers State Polytechnic.
In 2017 she got signed to one of the best record label in Nigeria called "Progenitor Sapele Record Limited" in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Her current Debut album my "LAUGHTER" is a direct inspiration from the holy spirit. As she is not a music composer. And the album in it self has been described as a testimonies of hope and blessings. The debut album is one of the best selling album in the Gospel music world.
